ClientVenue is an agency project management platform built around a white-labeled client portal. It combines onboarding, project management, invoicing, time tracking, and resource planning into a single tool — positioning itself against both lightweight portals and heavier PSA platforms. The platform was built by a team with agency backgrounds, and the feature set reflects workflows specific to recurring client work.

What it does

The client-facing portal lets agencies give each client a branded workspace to track project progress, view deliverables, review reports, and pay invoices. The portal can be white-labeled with your agency's colors and domain, so clients see it as a native part of your brand rather than a third-party tool. You can even embed it on your own website, giving clients a seamless experience from your homepage to their project dashboard.

On the internal side, teams get customizable project views, task management with templates and workflows, timesheets, resource allocation, and a built-in chat system. There's also a dedicated approvals area where you can assign stakeholders and set deadlines for sign-offs on deliverables. Client onboarding is automated through configurable flows, so new accounts follow a consistent process from first contact through project kickoff.

A notable feature is profitability tracking: ClientVenue lets you measure P&L at the project, service, and team-member level to identify where hours are going unbilled or services are underpriced. The reporting dashboard gives agency owners and operations leads visibility across all teams, showing occupancy rates, billable vs. non-billable hours, and per-employee performance. Client-facing reports can also be generated and shared directly through the portal.

Invoicing supports both recurring billing and one-time payments, with native integrations to major payment platforms. The storage system provides a dedicated space for each client's media and assets, keeping deliverables organized by project rather than scattered across shared drives.

Pricing

ClientVenue offers three tiers, all with a 14-day free trial:

  • Starter — 2 team members, unlimited client accounts and projects, 5 GB storage, white-label portal, onboarding, invoicing, and basic integrations
  • Professional — 5 team members, 100 GB storage, adds timesheets, chat, resource management, and priority support
  • Scale — 20+ team members, 500 GB storage, dedicated account manager, custom development, 1-on-1 onboarding and coaching, and advanced integrations

Exact dollar pricing wasn't published at time of review, but the platform has historically been available around $15/user/month and has appeared as a lifetime deal on AppSumo. Plan changes can be made at any time from the settings page.

Who it's for

ClientVenue targets agencies selling productized or retainer-based services — content, design, SEO, digital marketing, outbound sales, and similar recurring-engagement work. The platform is designed for multiple roles within an agency, not just project managers: agency owners, operations teams, project teams, finance, and HR each have relevant dashboards and workflows. The sweet spot is small to mid-size agencies (2–20 people) that need more than a simple file-sharing portal but aren't ready for a full-scale PSA like Scoro or Teamwork.

Limitations

The pricing page has visible placeholder copy suggesting the site is still a work in progress, which reflects the platform's relatively early stage. Actual dollar amounts aren't prominently listed. The native integration list isn't enumerated clearly on the site. Teams needing deep integrations with specific tools should verify compatibility before committing. There's also no free tier; the trial is time-limited to 14 days.
