trumpet is a digital sales room platform built around "Pods" — branded microsites that consolidate everything a buyer or customer needs in one shareable link. Founded in London in 2021, it has grown to over 15,000 revenue teams and won G2's 2026 Best Software Award across multiple categories.

Pods: the core concept

Each Pod is a live, collaborative workspace tied to a deal or customer relationship. Sellers add content blocks — documents, videos, proposals, voice notes, Google Slides — and buyers interact with them directly inside the Pod rather than navigating email threads. Pods carry deal context through the full lifecycle: from first outreach through demo follow-up, proposal, close, and into onboarding. Mutual Action Plans (MAPs) with shared task ownership and timelines are built in at all paid tiers.

AI features

trumpet has invested heavily in AI across three named components. Composer AI generates business cases, exec summaries, proposals, and QBR documents directly inside a Pod. Maestro AI surfaces deal health signals and recommended next steps based on buyer engagement patterns. Casey AI acts as a real-time sales coach, flagging risk and guiding rep behavior during live deals. The AI org chart tool maps stakeholder relationships automatically. Most of these AI features are gated behind the Scale plan (£60/user/month).

Pricing

Pricing is in GBP and structured across four tiers (annual rates shown):

  • Free — £0/user/month. Includes all Scale plan features with a hard cap of 10 Pods per account. No card required. Good for evaluating the product.
  • Pro — £29/user/month. Unlimited Pods, unlimited content uploads and templates, pro analytics, AI engagement score, CRM integrations, and a Content Management System.
  • Scale — £60/user/month (most popular). Adds TrumpetSign (native e-signature), trumpet AI suite, proposals and quotes, video/screen recording, Gong integration, DocuSign and PandaDoc integrations, surveys and forms, synced widgets and global content updates, and template analytics.
  • Elite — £100/user/month. Adds SSO, SCIM, multi-team Workspaces, white labeling, custom domains (e.g. pod.acme.com), AI content/semantic search, and dedicated customer success.

Monthly billing is available at a ~25% premium. The 10-Pod free limit means small teams can't stay on free indefinitely — any meaningful sales volume will require upgrading.

Integrations

CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot) pull deal data into Pods automatically and sync engagement back. Revenue tooling integrations include Gong, Salesloft (with Rhythm intent signals), and Outreach. For document workflows there's DocuSign and PandaDoc. Collaboration notifications go through Slack or Microsoft Teams. Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs) embeds natively. Zapier is available on Pro and above for custom automation. All integrations require Scale or Elite plans for full access.

Analytics and intelligence

Engagement tracking is a genuine differentiator. trumpet logs who viewed a Pod, which content they spent time on, whether they forwarded it to colleagues, and when momentum drops. The Nerve Centre dashboard aggregates this across deals, letting managers see pipeline health by buyer behavior rather than rep-reported stage. Template analytics (Scale and above) show which templates correlate with higher win rates and revenue.

Security and compliance

SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliant. SSO and SCIM are available on Elite for automated user provisioning. Individual Pods can be secured with password protection, domain lockdown, or email verification. Role-based permissions and centralized content governance prevent reps from sending off-brand or outdated materials.

Limitations

The pricing is in GBP, which adds minor uncertainty for US buyers and means costs fluctuate with exchange rates. The most compelling features — AI coaching, advanced analytics, e-signatures, video recording — all sit at Scale (£60/user/month), making the Pro tier feel like an intermediate step rather than a complete product. Teams that only need basic file sharing with light tracking will find cheaper options; trumpet's value proposition is strongest for organizations running complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals where deal intelligence and buyer engagement data genuinely drive pipeline decisions.
